Background:
Motawi Tile is made by Karim and Nawal Motawi and their staff of talented artisans in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their artwork is inspired from a wide range of historical decorative traditions, including Celtic art, Art Nouveau, and 20th Century American art potteries like Pewabic Pottery. More recent influences include Grueby Faience and Louis Sullivan.
Each tile is notched on the back for hanging. It can also be displayed on your shelf or tabletop using an easel. If you would like to frame the tile, please contact us and we can quote you a price for framing.
