We are proud to carry this beautiful pottery made by artisans in Boleslawiec, Poland. Each piece is unique, beautifully handcrafted, and signed by the artist who painted it. All of our designs are called "Unikat" - which means unique in Polish - and are considered more artistic than other forms of Polish pottery. Very few online shops carry these exclusive designs.

Polish pottery began as folk art in the early 1800's, with designs inspired by the eye of the peacock feather. Over the years new designs have evolved as a form of art passed along from one generation to the next while still preserving the charm of Old Europe. Antique Boleslawiec can be found in museums, antique shops, and private collections throughout Europe.

Each item is made using white clay decorated with lead-free glazes creating a durable collection. This collectible pottery is safe for use in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
