Haviland Bowl and Nappies Set

Description: Haviland Limoges china set consisting of 1 ruffled edge bowl (7" diameter) and 6 ruffled edge nappies (4" diameter); delicate pink roses around rim and in center of bowl and nappy; large bowl has delicate pink roses along rim on back side; gold trim along rim of bowl and nappies.

Manufacturer: Marked with "Ch. Field Haviland Limoges" printed inside double red circle and green "GDA France" mark. These are the marks of Charles Field Haviland (CFH) and his successors Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot (GDA). Limoges china bearing these marks were produced between 1900 and 1941.

Limoges Covered Vegetable Dish

Description: Covered limoges porcelain vegetable dish; 12" x 6 1/2"; delicate pink roses with green leaves and vines; gold outline on handles and finial.

Manufacturer: Item has "B & H - Limoges France" printed inside a green circle. This is the trademark used by Blakeman and Henderson (B&H) in the early 1900's. Porcelain carrying the Blakeman and Henderson marks is always superbly decorated.

Limoges Dinner Plates Set

Description: 4 Plates; approximately 9 1/2" in diameter; elegant gold rim.

Manufacturer: Has two marks - green "JPL France" mark and "J Pouyat Limoges" mark inside a green wreath with pink ribbon. These marks were used by the Jean Pouyat company between 1906 and 1932. Jean Pouyat is one of the oldest French names associated with the Limoges porcelain industry.
